West side and voice-less

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

Thank you very much to friends and family that came out to Caseys on April 11th. This place is a good neighborhood bar with a great owner – Larry. It was a good crowd – a good night to go out and have some drinks – a good 3 sets were planned, then BAM. Due do a chest cold I came down with earlier in the week, I progressively and completely lost my voice over the course of the night. Kudos to Tom for pulling out some old songs that we have not done before to save the gig and finish the night.

I am going to try to heal my voice for now and be ready for the next show.

Thanks all.

The Spirit of St. Patrick

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Many, many thanks to our friends and fans that came to see us play on St. Patrick’s Day. It was a packed crowd for the Elks corned beef dinner. This is my favorite holiday because everybody seems to be out together with total strangers, having fun, listening to music, and sharing a few drinks. Tom and I both enjoyed playing for the largest crowd we have had since One More Pint started playing out just three months ago.

We hope to see you all out in April.
