I wanted to send out a big thanks to all of our friends and fans who came out last night to Mullarkey’s. This was one of the most fun shows we’ve played in Willoughby. Plaid Sabbath was in the house to share their music with everyone. Thanks guys! Special thanks also go to Danny and Bobbie of Collage for sitting in during the wee hours of the morning. I love playing till the lights come on!
Also – thanks to all the Facebook friends who came out last night. That’s right, you can now find One More Pint on Facebook.
We can’t wait to see you all next time.

Wow – It is 2010 and we are ready to play some Celtic music. I can’t wait to see everybody after taking a few months off. I would like to say that we spent the time wisely, recording a CD, but that was not to be. We do have a few new songs for you. In addition there is a new feature on the site to sign up for the email list. Tell your friends!
Please visit the schedule for all of the current show dates. We are branching out this year to the west side of Cleveland, and on St. Patrick’s Day, no less.
Tom and I are really excited to get out and perform. See you soon!
-Lee

Here is some news from the weekend before Labor Day. Better late than never…
Well, this summer’s weather has certainly been interesting. Our outdoor shows have been peppered with wind rain, and now 65 degree weather. It felt more like a fall Celtic Festival, but the 2009 Celtic Feis at the Old Firehouse Winery brought us some warm new friends. Needless to say, Tom and I had a good time playing the songs we love for the few who braved the weather to eek out the last of this all too brief summer. So thank you very much to Judy, Roger, Elaine, John, of Forsythe Special, and all the rest who share a great “summer” evening with us. – Oh and thanks also to Westside Steve whom I finally got to meet and listen to. Steve puts on a great show, and he was sporting a kilt as well!

What a great weekend! Tom and I played Mullarkey’s in Willoughby Saturday night. A big thanks to Dale and Wade who sat in with us on the guitar and highland bagpipes. We met some really cool folks at the bar, and even ran into them on Sunday at the Irish festival. Speaking of which, the 27th Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival was a great time. Tom and I both went to see some great music, drink a few pints, and sample the food. There were no disappointments from any of those categories. If you missed it this year, make sure you get there next year!

The show last night at Big Creek Park was a great success. Unfortunately the weather during the day made both the amphitheater and it’s stage very soggy, so we moved the concert inside to the Cherry room. The estimated attendance was around 140 people (and about 8 dogs). I would like to thank Jim Blue once again, not only for filling in for Tom, but also for sharing his original music with everyone. Please visit Jim’s website www.jimbluemusic.com for more information about his recordings. I know I had a great time, and I got some very kind comments after the show.

Major thanks to all of you who came out to the Barking Spider last Friday. We had a great time and were honored to have in our midst: Cleveland music scene legend-Peanuts, singer/songwriter-Quinn Sands, as well as Kevin Grgurich of the Respectable Hooligans. I must also send a shout out to C.C., Corey, Uncle Joe, Ann, Sarah, Eric, and the rest of the “hooligans”. Thanks a bunch for coming out.

Wow! We had a great time at the Henn Mansion in Euclid, OH. We played for a Wine Tasting Benefit for the “Friends of the Henn”. This beautifully restored mansion in Euclid hosts corporate events, wedding receptions and such. It’s a really neat old place with a lot of history inside. Thanks to all the friends who came and gave us some really nice compliments.

We didn’t exactly lounge our lives away this summer, but we did take a bit of a break from booking gigs. When you don’t book them you don’t play them.
We had a great time playing the Brigadoon Celtic Festival in Rootstown and the Lake County Fair. Our sets were well received, and it was great to share the stage with some other folks like Bill and Colleen Keener and also Crookneck Chandler and the Tibbee Bottom Boys.
We have some new shows on the list for October. I have finally gotten my butt into gear to book shows for the upcoming St Patty’s day season just six months away! I can’t wait – it’s the most wonderful time of the year you know.
See you out there soon!
